About

Tara Grace has had a varied and eclectic career in the area of media and healing.

Her media career started with a Super 8 movie camera filming movies in grammar school. Her health career began with her parent’s influence. Knowing the depleted nutritional value of processed food, her parents kept no white flour nor white sugar in the house. Her father was into aerobic exercise before most people knew what it was. He was still downhill skiing at age 87! On the board of the esteemed Price Pottenger Nutrition Foundation, Tara Grace’s father helped fund the final leg of the discovery that turned out to be the lifesaving Omega 3 oil!

Doing radio broadcasts in college at UCLA, one of her first news reports was of the tragic Space Shuttle Challenger explosion. In that same time period, Tara Grace had the opportunity to write and direct a public service announcement for Mother’s Against Drunk Diving starring Charlton Heston which aired about 900 times in the LA area.

After graduating with honors from UCLA, Tara Grace went to work in the entertainment industry starting as a script reader for Aaron Russo (producer of “The Rose” starring Bette Milder and “Trading Places” starring Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy), Marion Rees Productions and New World Entertainment. She worked as Production Coordinator and set photographer. At one point she served as the Associate Producer on George Burn’s video modeled after his book “How to Live to Be 100” – his wisdom on how to age well. Tara Grace then served two years in International Television packaging at the leading talent agency in Hollywood, Creative Artists Agency (CAA).

Upon learning of the healing skills of a now colleague and friend, Tara Grace experienced a strong desire to devote her life to holistic healthcare. She traveled to China (two years after the Tiananmen Square protests) for a year of study acupuncture at one of China’s top five Traditional Chinese Medical hospitals. Among the specialties Tara Grace learned there was the treatment of stroke and Bells Palsy recovery.

Upon starting her practice, Tara Grace was selected to be the head acupuncture teacher at UCLA’s prestigious Arthur Ashe medical facility. This was the landmark event of being the first time any UC campus made acupuncture available to its student body as medical treatment. It was a huge success and the program continues to this day!

Tara was also featured on Lifetime Television with her patient Florence Henderson. She was again featured on Veria Television on “The Incurables” when one of her patients with Stage 4 throat cancer became cancer free.

Over the years, Tara Grace became the trusted healthcare provider to hundreds of athletes, doctors, celebrities, artists and folks from all walks of life.

For three and a half years, Tara Grace has been broadcasting her own radio show LIVE out of Angel Stadium on one of the strongest broadcasts signals in California KLAA (AM830). Her show began for the first year as a health and wellness show with many of America’s leading holistically knowledgeable MDs (www.BestFromEastToWest.com).
